Mesotherapy Injections Administration Technique

Mesotherapy sessions typically involve superficial injections using specialized short needles directly over the site of affected structures.

There are three different techniques used in mesotherapy treatments:

2. Nappage—This involves more superficial (two milimiters deep) injections administered with a four milimeter needle covering a large area. Injections are administered at a 45-degree angle to the skin while applying constant light pressure on the plunger. At each injection site, a drop of solution is introduced while the practitioner repeatedly flicks the wrist, mimicking a salt shaker 
3. Epidermic—This technique involves the most superficial (one milimeter deep) injections where the basal layer is not penetrated. A needle size of 27 to 31 gauge is used with the bevel oriented away from the skin and light, positive pressure applied to the plunger. The solution is administered in a grid pattern at one centimeter intervals over a large affected area
