WHAT IS BELOTERO?

Merz Pharmaceuticals manufactures Belotero, a range of non-permanent and biodegradable soft tissue fillers. The filler material is made up of synthetic cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It was produced using two patented manufacturing technologies: Dynamic Cross-Linking Technology and Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM). Produced monophasic gel is transparent, colorless, and has the perfect combination of elasticity and cohesiveness. It comes in a 1mL Syringe, with accessories such as needles and a package insert.

• Hydro contains an 18 mg/mL concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, making it ideal for moisturizing dry, flaky areas such as the neck, back, and decolletage. Glycerol (21 mg/mL) is added to hydrate and delay hyaluronic acid degradation. The package includes a prefilled syringe and two disposable 30G 1/2″ needles and an insert.
• Soft contains 20mg/mL cross-linked hyaluronic acids, making it ideal for correcting fine lines such as crow’s feet. The package includes and an insert, a prefilled syringe, two disposable 30G 1/2″ needles, and two traceability labels. An alternative version with pain-relieving lidocaine is available.
• Balance contains a 22.5mg/mL cross-linked hyaluronic acid concentration. It is perfect for moderate wrinkles such as glabellar lines. This cosmetic solution can also enhance the size and shape of your lips. The package includes and an insert, a prefilled syringe and one disposable 27G 1/2″ needle. 2 traceability labels are included. An alternative version with pain-relieving lidocaine is available.
• Intense contains a 25.5mg/mL cross-linked hyaluronic acid concentration. It treats deeper wrinkles, such as marionette lines and pronounced nasolabial folds. The package insert includes a prefilled syringe and two disposable 27G 1/2″ needles. There are also two traceability labels, two traceability labels, and one package insert. An alternative version is available with pain-relieving lidocaine.
• Volume contains a 26mg/mL cross-linked hyaluronic acid concentration. It is perfect for volumizing sunken areas such as the cheeks and temples. HOW DOES THE DERMAL FILLER WORK

HOW TO INJECT IT

This filler should not be used by anyone not qualified for dermal treatment. During the procedure, strict aseptic standards should be adhered to. You must ensure that the mandatory disinfecting process has been applied to the treatment areas. Before using the filler, ensure that it is within its shelf-life and that the sterilized packaging is intact. Attach a suitable-sized needle to the medical device as per the instructions. Hydro is the only variant that integrates lidocaine. To provide more comfort during injections, you can use pain-relieving drugs. The filler may have different injection techniques.

• Belotero Hydro: The ideal needle size is 30G. Use the nappage technique to slowly inject the filler into the epidermal/dermal junction. Additionally, you can inject the filler into the superficial dermis using the micropapular method.
• Belotero Soft: A 30G needle is the best size. The soft tissue gel should be injected into the superficial dermis. Keep the injection angle at about 10 degrees from the skin’s surface.
• Belotero Balance: The 27G needle is the best size. The aesthetic filler should be injected into the layer between the sub- and mid-dermis layers. Keep the injection angle at 15 degrees to the skin’s surface.
• Belotero Intense: The 27G needle is the best size. The filler gel should be injected into the skin’s mid- to deep dermis layers. Keep the injection angle at 30 degrees to the skin’s surface.
• Belotero Volume: A 30G or 27G needle may be used with a cannula to inject filler into the subcutaneous or deep dermis.

HOW LONG WILL THE EFFECT LAST?

Fillers of the Belotero brand provide long-lasting, consistent effects that last from 9 to 18 months. The original technology used to process the gel makes this possible. The gel is tissue-friendly, so it will not be damaged by surrounding tissue.
However, the effects of the treatment will vary depending on the skin condition and lifestyle of the patient.

IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE TO USE?

The highest quality ingredients are used to make the fillers for Belotero. The hyaluronic acids are derived through a controlled bio-fermentation process. After purification, any contaminants are removed. As we have already stated, the body naturally produces hyaluronic acid. BELOTERO SIDE EFFECTS
