WHAT IS CYTOCARE?
The Laboratories Revitacare, a French cosmeceutical company with a wealth of experience producing aesthetic fillers, has designed the Cytocare range of rejuvenating injectables.
These products comprise a non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid solution that’s entirely biodegradable, resorbable, and blended with the Rejuvenating Complex CT50.
There are three variations of revitalizing fillers in the Cytocare collection, each with a difference in the concentration of hyaluronic acid, while the Rejuvenating Complex CT50 remains the same. They are as follows:
- Cytocare 502 is composed of 2mg/mL non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and the Rejuvenating Complex CT50. It is supplied with 10-5mL vials of the solution.
- Cytocare 516 comprises 16mg/mL of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and the Rejuvenating Complex CT50. It is supplied with 10-5mL vials of the solution.
- Cytocare 532, which is composed of 32mg/mL non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and the Rejuvenating Complex CT50. It is supplied with 10-5mL vials of the solution.
Due to the sterilization and delicate nature of the medical devices mentioned above, it is necessary to store them within a temperature range of 2°C to 30°C.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
The Cytocare line is formulated to combat signs of premature aging, such as dehydration, dullness, and fine lines. Each filler in the range contains a specific concentration of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid to address different indications.
Cytocare 502 is intended to safeguard the skin from further damage and maintain a youthful radiance by delaying the formation of lines and preserving skin hydration.
Cytocare 516 is best suited for correcting newly-formed superficial lines, restoring hydration, and enhancing skin elasticity and radiance.
Cytocare 532 is ideal for reducing the appearance of wrinkles and combating skin aging. It also replenishes hydration for a brighter-looking complexion.
HOW CYTOCARE TREATMENT WORKS
The skin’s health and functionality rely on various bodily systems that continuously renew essential dermal cells like collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Injured cells are also promptly repaired to minimize scarring. However, these maintenance processes tend to slow down with age.
Extrinsic factors like pollution, smoking, and UV damage also introduce free radicals into the body, accelerating aging and resulting in skin imperfections such as fine lines, dehydration, and dullness.
To address these dermal imperfections, Cytocare fillers are formulated with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and the Rejuvenating Complex CT50. Together, these ingredients work in a dual-action mechanism that boosts the activity of fibroblasts and keratinocytes.
This process leads to improved skin elasticity and enhanced protection against external stressors. Treatment with Cytocare fillers results in deeply hydrated, supple, and smooth skin.
HOW TO INJECT CYTOCARE
Administering Cytocare revitalizing fillers is considered a medical procedure, and trained and experienced physicians should only perform it. Strict aseptic medical standards must be followed throughout the procedure.
The treatment areas must be cleaned and sanitized before starting the session. Assess the patient’s pain level and administer pain-relieving agents if required. The injection techniques vary depending on the implants, as follows:
- Cytocare 502: The manufacturer recommends using a meso roller, derma pen, point-by-point, or transdermal systems for injections.
- Cytocare 516: Recommended techniques are point-by-point, cross-hatching, fan, and transdermal systems.
- Cytocare 532: The best injection techniques are retro racing, point-by-point, fan, cross-hatching, and transdermal systems.
After the correction is made, discard any unused filler and used medical supplies.
HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT LAST?
For optimal skin beautifying results, the initial three treatment sessions should be scheduled every three weeks as part of an intensive treatment regimen. After that, the frequency can be reduced to every three months to sustain the aesthetic benefits.
The amount and duration of the fillers will depend on various factors, such as the patient’s skin condition, lifestyle, and age.
IS CYTOCARE SAFE?
The Cytocare bio-rejuvenating fillers have been certified as Class 3 Medical Devices. They have been awarded International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 10993 certifications for being non-cytotoxic, non-irritating, and non-mutagenic.
The manufacturing process also adheres strictly to GMP to ensure quality control.
